JAMSHEDPUR: The Jamshedpur (East) MLA and BJM president, Saryu Roy has advocated coordinated approach between Jamshedpur Notified Area Committee (JNAC) and Tata Steel for judicious development of the city.
The MLA said that the city deserves a joint mechanism for balanced development of the civic amenities in the urban circle. The amenities like sewerage, electricity, drinking water and roads in the command area of the company, and, in the peripheral of the command area are of two different standards.
Jamshedpur is neither a declared municipal town nor an industrial town, due to which the development of civic amenities are being suffered. The JNAC and Tata Steel must have a proper coordination to develop the urban circle area in a balanced manner, Rai said.
