MUMBAI: A new Foot Over Bridge (FOB) was commissioned and opened for passengers at Kurla station (at it’s Kalyan end). This station already has five FOBs.
The FOB was constructed at a cost of Rs 10.6 crore and has a width of 8 metre and length close to 80 metres, said Central Railway chief spokesperson Shivraj Manaspure.
It has total 44 columns supporting four spans of the FOB.
There are five staircases provided for this bridge from platforms 1 to 8, he said.
“CR is committed for gradual improvement in amenities for our passengers,” Manaspure added.
